By applying the shielding concept between the external primary and secondary terminals of the solid insulated load break switch to the distribution panel, maximum safety is ensured during maintenance of devices installed on the secondary side of the load break switch after it has been opened. Installing the load break switch's phase-specific fixed and movable terminals inside a honeycomb-type housing prevents the dispersion of arc by-products during load current switching, and reduces phase-to-phase clearance, enabling a compact distribution panel design.
